Ravens at Patriots 2014 Divisional Round: The Edelman Pass

Edelman wasn’t technically catching a pass on this play, but he did throw a pass.

New England was down 28-21 against Baltimore, and to overcome their second 14-point deficit of the game, New England would have their Kent State quarterback loosen up his arm for the first time in his Patriot career.

Edelman received the Brady lateral and threw a perfect ball to Danny Amendola to tie up the game.

This was a pivotal game in Patriot history. They were known to struggle immensely against Baltimore, and they had to pull out all the stops to keep up and eventually beat the Ravens.

Edelman’s throw went a long way in determining the outcome of this game. If you say “The Edelman Pass Game” to any Patriot fan, they’ll know what you’re talking about.
