Seahawks at Patriots 2016 Wk 10: 3rd-and-25 catch, 3rd-and-10 catch

In a Super Bowl 49 rematch, the Patriots and Seahawks went back and forth, and this game came down to the wire at the goal line … just like the original.

To close out the third quarter, New England was facing a 3rd and 25 as they were down 22-21. They were on the Seattle 42-yard line.

Most teams would run a draw or a screen play to get into field goal range. Not Brady and Edelman. They went deep down the sideline and Edelman made a great catch to convert.

Later in the game with 2:30 to go in the fourth, New England was down 31-24, facing a 3rd and 10. Brady and Edelman went back to work, going deep down the field and Edelman, once again, hauled it in.

Have a 3rd and long? Call up Julian Edelman.
