. PASSING OFFENSE. B. .

It was a mixed bag of sorts for the Patriots passing attack. Without Gronkowski, things got off to a slow start. Tom Brady would eventually pick things up, as he completed 13 consecutive passes between the second and third quarters.

Brady finished the game on a super efficient 30-of-40 for 303 yards and one touchdown. However, it was far from a clean game for Brady. He was sacked three times and turned it over twice with one interception and one fumble lost. He did just enough to move the Patriots up and down the field but it was far from his best performance.

Four players dominated the targets for New England. Chris Hogan continues to perform at a high level. He caught eight passes for 74 yards and the touchdown. Brandin Cooks led the way with 85 yards on five receptions, while Danny Amendola added eight receptions for 77 yards of his own. James White caught seven passes of his own for 57 yards.

Dion Lewis was the only other player to catch a pass, hauling in his two targets for 10 yards. Brady is rarely hit and rushed as much as he was tonight, so the Patriots have some cleaning up to do in that area.

Overall, it was a pretty good game for the Patriots passing offense.
