Now that the NFL offseason is in full swing, there's not much going on for the Patriots until free agency next month, leaving a lot of excitement until then. However, at least one great thing to kick things off from the Super Bowl was seeing the Chiefs completely flop and fail at their chance to make history by winning three Championships in a row.
It was what many analysts believed would set them apart from the Patriots dynasty and make theirs the best, squashing the greatness of Tom Brady and the two decades of dominance by the quarterback alongside Bill Belichick.
It has been a debate that has been nagging Patriots fans since Patrick Mahomes began his starting career in 2018. Many already label him as the greatest of all time despite moving the goal posts until the very end to make Brady considered the best.
So, seeing the Chiefs fall flat on their faces in Super Bowl 59 was a delight, and the latest updates from the game make it even clearer that they were and will be nowhere near overtaking the Patriots dynasty anytime soon.
Embarrassing updates from the Chiefs Super Bowl failure proves they're far from being better than the Patriots
In the days since the Eagles won the Super Bowl in a dominant fashion, plenty has speculated about what happened with the Chiefs and their expected three-peat.
One of those embarrassing updates comes from a clip courtesy of NFL Films, which catches players citing the Patriots' 28-3 comeback against the Falcons in Super Bowl LI. Because they were down nearly the same amount, the Chiefs were hyping themselves up, claiming that since New England made the triumphant comeback, they could, too.
The problem is they didn't have Brady on their team.

As if that wasn't bad enough, new insight from FOX Sports' Henry McKenna makes the Chiefs look even worse.
McKenna cites a Kansas City coach he spoke to before the Super Bowl last Sunday who stated that going to the championship game 'gets old.' There are even claims that the players had "Super Bowl fatigue,' which is not something you would have ever heard from a coach or player on the Patriots from a win or a loss in the big game.
It's wild to hear a coach say that before a game even begins, but it's worse hearing it in general. It's not a great look for an organization that wants to convince the fans and the league that they are better than what the Patriots accomplished and that Mahomes is far above Tom Brady as a quarterback.
