The Patriots come into the 2025 offseason in one of the best positions any team could ask for, especially when they're hoping to completely revamp their roster to get back to relevancy. With a projected $120 million in cap space plus the fourth overall pick in the upcoming draft, they will have plenty of opportunity to accomplish that with ease.

Free agency will be the most intriguing part of all, as some quality players are set to hit the market and look for fresh starts around the league. The Patriots have their quarterback, which puts them ahead of some other bottom-of-the-barrel teams, and a new head coach with an experienced staff that should really put New England over the mark.

That has already led to a few Patriots taking to social media to recruit those expected to be the most sought-after like Kendrick Bourne extending an olive branch to former college teammate Cooper Kupp, who will be traded once free agency begins.

But Bourne isn't the only one taking the recruiting game seriously, which is excellent news for Vrabel and Co. as they hope to assemble an impressive roster for the 2025 season.

Drake Maye admits to chatting up soon-to-be free agents about the Patriots during the Pro Bowl

During an appearance on Up & Adams on Tuesday morning, Kay Adams asked Maye about potentially trying to recruit some of his Pro Bowl teammates to the Patriots this offseason.

Maye didn't hesitate to reveal that he certainly did hype up New England and what they're hoping to do in the near future, saying he let them know that the Patriots will be making some big moves this offseason they should watch out for.

Considering the less-than-ideal circumstances he was in for his rookie season and the significant changes the team has made in a short amount of time, it's good to hear Maye has an optimistic outlook about his future with the Patriots.

It's also very telling regarding how he feels about the new coaching staff, which some were concerned about, given how well he seemed to work with guys like Alex Van Pelt last year. But from all accounts so far, Maye and others are excited about Vrabel and Josh McDaniels, which also seems to be why players attempt to recruit upcoming free agents.
