1. RB Todd Gurley

It feels like Gurley is pushing 40, but a former Offensive Player of the Year is struggling to find work at age 27. When he was with the Los Angeles Rams, there wasn’t a better back in the league over a two-year stretch, but his value has completely fallen off of a cliff due to his arthritic knees.

Gurley thought that returning to the South and playing for Atlanta could rejuvenate his value, but OC Dirk Koetter never even tried to use him as a featured option, and he didn’t eclipse 700 yards rushing. Is there a chance that he could start to turn things around with the Patriots?

The Patriots could use Todd Gurley and elevate their backfield.

Damien Harris is the lead dog in the backfield, but he doesn’t have the production to keep challengers from taking snaps away. With the Patriots likely not bringing back Sony Michel next year, Gurley could be the backup ahead of rookie Rhamondre Stevenson.

Gurley may never be what he was with the Rams, which is a genuine shame, because he was as fun as they come for a brief moment, but he definitely has enough gas in the tank to help Cam Newton win some games.
