No. 2 – Seahawks (Week 2)

A game against Pete Carroll and the Seahawks is always an exciting time for Patriots fans … ever since the dramatic finish to Super Bowl XLIX when Malcolm Butler made his game-winning interception from the goal line to end the game.

Although we won’t see any more battles between Russell Wilson and Tom Brady in New England, we can’t deny the stellar quarterback play between these two teams over the years.

In more recent years, Wilson has evolved into a top tier quarterback for the Seahawks, which has made these games more interesting — and he is currently the highest-paid player at the position. You never know what to expect from Wilson, which makes this an exciting game to watch.

The Seahawks have also picked up wide receivers Josh Gordon and Phillip Dorsett after they departed from the New England Patriots during the last two years.

Considering this game is at the beginning of the schedule in Week 2, it would be fair to assume that the new and improved Patriots offense may not be established by then and will need to rely on the defense to win this game.

The Patriots will have to shut down the big play abilities of Wilson and all of his receivers — which they are prepared to do so with their upgraded defense this year.
