I want to believe the Patriots can improve their defense in short order, but the results do not lie. Last week was probably the worst performance of the season (considering the mental mistakes of the first three weeks that is saying a lot) and this will take hard work and time to fix–not a short week with just one practice day before a Thursday night game.
One walkthrough practice is not going to solve all the problems on defense. The offense will make a strong attempt to outscore the Buccaneers but are likely to fall just short.
