New England Patriots stay put in Week 2 NFL Power Rankings
By Nick Ziegler
After a tough Week 1 loss to the Jaguars, the Texans bounced back with a nice road win over the Bengals. Even though the game was ugly, the Texans will be pleased to leave with a win. Deshaun Watson is learning on the job, but he dazzled with a 49-yard rushing touchdown. The Texans are going to rely on their running game and their defense for much of 2017, as they try to develop Watson.
The Dolphins played very well in their first game of the season, as they were able to defeat the Los Angeles Chargers. In his first game with the Dolphins, Jay Cutler played pretty well. Cutler totaled 230 passing yards and one passing touchdown. In addition to Cutler playing above expectations, Jay Ajayi ran the ball well with 122 yards on the ground.
The Titans bounced back nicely in Week 2 after a tough loss to the Raiders in Week 1. By no means were the Titans perfect against the Jaguars, but they got back to their identity of running the football. Derrick Henry played an excellent game, as he totaled 92 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in the win.
