As we draw nearer to a September without Tom Brady, let’s take a look at six former New England Patriots wide receivers who might be game to train with Brady during those four weeks.

Yesterday, we noted that Kevin Faulk thinks Brady might enlist the help of a former teammate or two… here are five thoughts.

5. Randy Moss

Years played with Patriots: 2007-2010

Stats with Patriots: 259 receptions, 3,094 yards, 50 touchdowns

Faulk himself said that Moss is still in “great shape” despite having been out of football for nearly four years. That comes as no surprise, however, as Moss was a top-tier athlete for over a decade. He’s not about to let those gifts go to waste, even if he is on TV now.

Look, Moss was probably the most special pass catcher Brady has ever played with (with the exception of Rob Gronkowski). Furthermore, Brady and Moss had a rapport that Moss never achieved with any other quarterback he played with since being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings way back when.

In other words, if there was a suspended quarterback that Moss may consider training with, Brady would be the guy. It would be great to see it happen.
