Kicker: Stephen Gostkowski

Punter: Ryan Allen

Long snapper: Joe Cardona

Specialists: Matthew Slater, Brandon King

Not much to say here: Gostkowski is a top-three kicker, Allen is a respectable punter (he actually owns the record for longest Super Bowl punt) and Cardona is an excellent long snapper with a year of experience under his belt now. Luckily, the Navy didn’t prevent Cardona from playing football this season, allowing the Patriots to cut the long snapper they signed in anticipation of Cardona leaving for naval duty, Christian Yount.

Slater and King make up perhaps the NFL’s best punt coverage unit. King studied under Slater throughout his rookie year and made more of an impact with each passing game. The Patriots are in good hands with Slater and King chasing down punts.
