3. Bill Belichick skipping on coaches’ photo

Belichick skipped the annual coaches’ photo at the NFL meetings. In other news, water is wet.

Andy Reid was apparently having knee surgery, and we don’t know why Sean Payton and Jason Garrett weren’t there. But it’s not surprising that Belichick avoided putting on a fake smile for the league’s benefit.

Of course, there was plenty of Patriots-NFL conflict yesterday at the league meetings, but Deflategate has become such a mess, this writer simply can’t make sense of it.

Even if Deflategate wasn’t a thing, Belichick would still skip this type of thing. He’s got better things to do.
