Miller appeared on our recent rundown of a free agent from each team the Patriots would love to sign. Here’s what was said about Miller in that article:
“This is a longshot, considering how exceptional a player Miller is at just 24 years old. He is going to command top dollar on the free agent market, so expect the Dolphins to lock him up with a lucrative contract before the Patriots even get a chance to think over the possibility of signing Miller.
But it sure would be nice to corral a player who has racked up 440 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in eight career games against the Patriots. A backfield featuring both Miller and Lewis would be lethal for opposing defenses, as Miller offers excellent receiving skills out of the backfield in addition to between-the-tackles rushing.
