4. Orleans Darkwa (23)

In addition to having arguably the best name in the NFL, Darkwa impressed in limited action with the Giants this past season.

Originally signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent, Darkwa was picked up by the Giants midway through the 2014 season and scored his first career touchdown that December against the St. Louis Rams.

In 2015, Darkwa handled 36 carries and rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown. Darkwa’s best game of the year came against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 7 when he ripped off 48 yards on just eight carries in addition to a touchdown.

Considering how little-known Darkwa is to the NFL outside of the Giants’ organization, he could be signed at a low cost and plugged into the training camp competition this summer. The Tulane product runs well at 6-foot, 215 pounds and could be a nice addition to the Patriots’ backfield. He has two years of NFL experience at just 23 years of age.
