5th Round #170 overall: George Bussey, Tackle
Bussey never played a snap in the NFL.
SHOULD HAVE DRAFTED:
By this point it was already a lottery and teams were taking flyers on players. In the fifty or so picks around Bussey #145 to #200 overall) there were maybe three players who could be called solid contributors: safety Chris Clemons (#165 overall to Miami), guard Matt Slauson (#193 to the Jets), and wide receiver Brandon Gibson (#194 to Philadelphia). Gibson only played one game for Philadelphia and instead made his mark in St. Louis before signing with Miami this past off-season.
