Through the first five games of the Patriots 2024 season, there hasn't been any deviation from their standard uniforms. But that changes this Sunday when they matchup with the Texans in Week 6.

Fans will finally see the return of a favorite uniform combo at Gillette Stadium, as the Patriots are expected to wear their red throwback jerseys. The social media team has already begun celebrating the first use of the old-school attire and logo, posting several videos and photos across their platforms to show the excitement of the staff and team.

Fortunately, this won't be the only time they will wear the red throwbacks this season.

The Patriots will don the Pat Patriot logo again in Week 13 when they play the Colts, with no other game on the docket to wear them again this year despite the new rule allowing them to use alternate helmets three times a season.

Since the rule was implemented, it has become their yearly tradition to go with just two throwback games, and it appears they'll keep that going in 2024. The coincidental timing of the uniform being worn during Drake Maye's NFL debut couldn't be better, either.

When the team has worn the throwbacks over the last few years, it has seemed to bring a new excitement from the roster that has sometimes translated into the game. The hope is that will be what happens against the Texans on Sunday, as the Patriots could certainly use another win.
