The New England Patriots will try to become the first team to win seven Super Bowls when they take the field in Super Bowl LX, as they will face off against Sam Darnold and a Seattle Seahawks team that has taken a best-in-conference defense and balanced offense to the peak.

After years of the Kansas City Chiefs dominating the AFC and the NFC rarely producing a team that was capable of taking them down, these two upstart franchises will battle it out in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, which was won by the Patriots due to Malcolm Butler's interception at the goal line.

Fans across the country, not just in Massachusetts and Washington state, need to circle this matchup on their calendar, as it could make for one of the more back-and-forth championship games the league has seen in quite some time.

When is Patriots vs. Seahawks Super Bowl LX?

Super Bowl LX from Santa Clara, California, will take place on February 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET (3:30 p.m. PT). The game will be aired on NBC, and additional streaming will be available on Peacock and the NBC Sports App. This game will be between two very evenly matched teams.

The Patriots have one of the league's hottest defenses and a young quarterback in Drake Maye who has as much talent as anyone, but this team has been winning playoff games with an old-fashioned, ground-and-pound, stiff-defense approach. Will that work against Seattle?

Not only are the Seahawks fresh off dominating two division rivals in the 49ers and Rams to get here, but head coach Mike Macdonald has established himself as one of the best defensive minds in the game. Offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who is expected to become the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, will be quite a challenge for Mike Vrabel.

Neither Seattle nor New England was expected to be a championship contender this season, and the fact that these two underdogs have consistently taken down whatever challenges have been laid in front of them may end up making for one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory.
