The New England Patriots' Super Bowl LX loss to the Seattle Seahawks was a drab affair for the first three quarters, as New England was kept off the scoreboard for the first three quarters in what ultimately ended up as a 29-13 affair in favor of the NFC champions. It took rookie Kyle Williams nearly decking a fan to get some energy in the building.

When a fan ran on the field in the fourth quarter, with New England trailing 19-0, Williams helped chase down a streaker who ran on the field, nearly laying him out before simply helping the police on the premises bring him down.

Oddly enough, the Patriots managed to ressucitate themselves after this pick, as Drake Maye took them into the end zone just two plays later by connecting on a deep-ball touchdown with Mack Hollins. The score cut the lead to 19-7, and momentum was back on New England's side.

Unfortunately, Maye's chance to bring the score just a bit closer was immediately cut short, as he was intercepted by Julian Love. Seattle went up 22-7 after some more Kenneth Walker III runs got Jason Myers in position to kick his fifth field goal of the day. A pick-six made it 29-7 soon thereafter.

Williams himself didn't have the biggest day on the statsheet, as he caught just one pass for seven yards. Still, to go from an unheralded wide receiver at Washington State to the Super Bowl in Week 1 is impressive enough and Williams should hold his head high.

The problem for Williams and the Patriots is the fact that the offense was completely stagnant for most of the game. Until the Patriots had to throw the ball, the combination of a stagnant running game and an absolutely suffocating defense from Seattle made it impossible for Maye to do anything.

One of the most exciting things to happen when the Patriots were on offense in this game was a dumb fan running out on the field. Williams nearly laid him out on the field, which would have given fans something at least mildly comedic to take home from this contest.
