Robert Kraft reveals exciting element to Tom Brady's Patriots HOF induction
We're just days away from Tom Brady being officially inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame and all the shocking surprises that will inevitably come during the event. Plenty has already been speculated about what the ceremony will entail, with most hoping the quarterback's jersey will be retired for starters.
There are also hopes of a statue being erected in his honor, which rumors have suggested might be happening based on the map for the event. But there is also a universal desire to see specific former players and coaches in attendance that added to Brady's legacy in New England, most importantly Bill Belichick.
Robert Kraft has already shared that "hundreds of his [Brady's] former Patriots teammates" will be at the event, and he then added a more surprising element by revealing they won't be the only exciting people in attendance for the festivities.
"Over his career, he showed some of the great values of America overcoming the odds through hard work and being a great human being. It will be great that we have a full stadium to honor him, which includes hundreds of his former Patriots teammates. We'll also have some real outstanding, surprise guests that are coming out of respect to Tommy and his legacy. We're honored to have his whole family and all the fans that respect what he did for us."
Who could those surprise guests be?
Brady's career extended over two decades in the NFL, and he made a lot of friends during that time. His league mates also became fans, so perhaps they will be in town for the event as well.
It's difficult to imagine who might be a surprise. Regardless, it will be an event to remember, and expectations are high for how the night will go. Hopefully, fans will not be left disappointed, like many were when Brady returned during the 2023 season.
