Patriots schedule release date rumors, leaks, opponents and more
Now that the 2024 NFL Draft has concluded, the next exciting part of the offseason is the schedule release. It's always interesting to see how they are put together, especially for the Patriots in the post-Tom Brady era.
During their 20-year dynasty, several nationally televised games were expected, likely the most in the league. But that hasn't been the case in the four years since the GOAT left. In fact, it's been the polar opposite.
Given how poorly New England has fared, it's not surprising in the least. Many Patriots fans even argued they didn't want to watch the team play sometimes. Now that they have a young quarterback, a new head coach, and what's looking like an exciting team again, we could see them shown more on Sunday or Monday nights.
We'll have to wait and see what the schedule will ultimately look like, but luckily, we shouldn't have to wait much longer.
When is the Patriots schedule going to be released?
The 2024 season schedules will be released on Wednesday, May 15.

Patriots schedule leaks:
No true leaks of the 2024 schedule have been published, but ESPN's Mike Reiss revealed a few tidbits of what he's heard about the Patriots' potential schedule.
In his weekly Sunday report, Reiss claims New England requested their games against the Cardinals and 49ers be back-to-back weeks, allowing them to spend a week on the West Coast instead of traveling from coast to coast too much.
"Teams can request consideration from the league in certain areas, and I'm told the Patriots asked for the possibility of pairing up their games at San Francisco and Arizona, which would potentially allow them to spend the week out west. No guarantee the league grants it, however."
