Patriots roster projection 2.0: Who is going to make the final 53?

The Patriots have now competed in two preseason games, with just one remaining before the start of the regular season, which has provided plenty to think about regarding the state of the roster. The cutdown deadline is just under two weeks away, meaning players will start to be released in the coming days.

While having more time to roster 90 players is a good thing for most teams, including the Patriots, it also makes it difficult to determine the best guys to keep vs. the ones that make sense to let go of when so many need to be cut.

Jerod Mayo and Co. will have many tough decisions to make, but fortunately, several training camp battles have made it clear who should and should not remain on the team for the 2024 season.

That's why we're taking another stab at projecting the final 53-man roster for the season ahead, with training camp and preseason performances all included.
