Home field advantage on Tom Brady Night

Depending on who you ask, the advantage of playing on your home field may be favorable or not. Given the circumstances of this Sunday, with it being the first game of the season and happening on Tom Brady Appreciation Night, it seems fair to assume it will play a big part for the Patriots in a good way.

The crowd will be extra rowdy and vocal, primarily because Brady will be in the building for the first time since he was on the visiting team in 2021. The fans will carry that enthusiasm throughout the entirety of the game, hopefully impacting the success of the Eagles on both sides of the ball.

A ruckus atmosphere can ultimately alter a game, whether it be contributing to a false start or making the player's jobs much more difficult as they try to communicate the next play to one another.

Plus, what better way to start the season than come out with a win over the reigning NFC Champions in front of Tom Brady? It would set the tone for the season and help kick off a tough month of opponents in the weeks ahead.
