In just a few hours, each NFL team will reveal their 2024 schedules with fancy videos, graphics, and the league will host a special on NFL Network. But as it is every year, plenty of leaks have made their way online, so there has been a lot of speculation over the last few days regarding a possible international game for the Patriots again this year.

Fortunately, the league planned to announce those games on Wednesday morning, which confirmed earlier rumors about the Patriots overseas game.

They will head to London to play the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium on October 20 at 9:30 A.M. ET.

This marks the second year in a row that New England will travel to Europe for a game, as they played the Indianapolis Colts in Germany during the 2023 season. It was a memorable game for many reasons, unfortunately mostly for being handed an embarrassing loss, so hopefully, this trip will end much differently.

Although technically, the Jaguars will be the home team for the matchup, international games feature fans of all teams. This is a benefit for the "away" team since the "home" team won't have the typical home-field advantage from their fans.

Knowing they'll travel for this game also means the Patriots will travel the fourth most total miles during the upcoming season. According to journalist and betting analyst Bill Speros, New England will travel 25,071 miles to get to their away games.

It's the latest factor that will potentially play a large part in how the team will fare this season. They have a tough strength of schedule, playing six AFC playoff teams from last year, and will face a handful of greatly improved rosters that rival their own.

There's a lot of pressure on the new regime led by Jerod Mayo to deliver on making the Patriots a better team this year, and hopefully, they'll deliver.
