Among the many headlines derived from the Patriots Week 15 loss to the Chiefs last Sunday was a video of Taylor Swift's expletive-filled reaction to a play in the end zone involving her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.

Leading up to that point, the tight end was experiencing the same fate he always has when playing the Patriots. Apparently, Bill Belichick and his staff are one of the only teams in the league who can consistently slow Kelce down and limit his production, as he has recorded just 358 yards and one touchdown (back in 2014) when playing against New England.

In this game, he totaled only five receptions for 28 yards, his career-low against the former AFC rival.

So when the Chiefs marched down the field and tried involving Kelce on a red zone play, it was clear he was doing all he could to gain something positive out of an otherwise forgettable performance.

On the play, Myles Bryant barely touched him while nearing the back of the end zone. Despite Kelce's clear size advantage (he's 6'5" and 250 pounds, whereas Bryan is 5'9" and 190 pounds), he whipped out his acting skills and tried to pull off the flop of the century, hoping to get a pass interference penalty on the third down play.

When he inevitably (and thankfully) did not get the flag, he was visibly bothered which caused the camera crew to quickly swing over to get Swift's reaction. They caught the pop singer having a similar reaction with an added noticeable expletive.

The clip has since gone viral, with many expressing their displeasure that Bryant was not flagged for the play, seemingly ignoring Kelce's award-winning performance.

Because of all the publicity, Bryant was asked about the play by PEOPLE after the game. He brushed it off and complimented Swift on her passion for the game, something that he understands given the importance of every matchup in an NFL season.

"It’s a high-stakes game. People get real into it, so it’s cool. It’s cool she’s into it."

The main takeaway from this entire thing is realizing that a predominately celebrity gossip magazine is the publication that wanted this scoop from Bryant to post on their website. It shows the reach that Swift has, even in the NFL.
