How to watch Patriots vs. Commanders Preseason Week 3 with and without cable
The Patriots are set to finish their 2024 preseason by hitting the road to face the Commanders on Sunday night, as the final test for the 90 men rostered mere hours before the cutdown deadline comes.
It's expected that most of the team, including all four quarterbacks again, will see the field during the game. Their performance could be the determining factor regarding who will be named the starter for Week 1. As of Thursday's practice, that remains to be Jacoby Brissett, but Drake Maye has continued to impress and given the veteran a run for his money.
If he can replicate his performance from last week's matchup with the Eagles, deciding who will be under center for the season ahead will be far more difficult for Jerod Mayo and Co. to make.
Another focus will inevitably be on the offensive line, even more so now with presumed starting left tackle Vederian Lowe sidelined with an injury.
Besides the offense, kickers Chad Ryland and Joey Slye are still competing, with the former Commander seeming to pull ahead of the second-year specialist. On top of that, seeing who will step up in the place left behind by Matthew Judon will be fascinating to watch.
