With Week 1 behind them, the Patriots have shifted their focus to their next opponent, a familiar foe who will make their way to Gillette Stadium for Sunday's matchup. The Seattle Seahawks and New England have a storied history going back over a decade, with the Patriots getting the better of their opponent in most games.

Both teams are heading into Week 2 with wins under their belt, with the Patriots shocking the NFL world by beating the Bengals on their home turf and the Seahawks snagging a close win over the rebuilding Broncos.

Expectations are low for these teams given the significant changes they have undergone this offseason, most notably their shared departures of tenured head coaches.

Mike McDonald has taken over in Pete Carroll's place in Seattle and hopes to make the Super Bowl XLVIII Champions a feared team again in the NFC. They played well against Denver last week, utilizing the run game through Kenneth Walker III. But although their defense was able to provide more time on the field for the offense, they weren't able to capitalize on those opportunities to really hammer home a more definitive win.

Now, as they prepare to head to Foxboro, they're dealing with injuries to multiple starters, including one of the stars of their offense in Walker. Several players were limited during Wednesday's practice, making their hopes of leaving Gillette Stadium with a win on Sunday much slimmer than just one week ago.

It will inevitably be something the Patriots will monitor as the game nears. Fortunately, they aren't dealing with the same issues with their roster, as only guard Sidy Sow missed Wednesday's practice.

Several others were limited, with David Andrews and Rhamondre Stevenson earning veteran rest days, but the injuries known last week remained. Hopefully, no more players will be added over the next few days, so most of the team can be on the field for their home opener on Sunday.
