Even through all of the suck, there are still some things that stick that New England Patriots fans should be thankful for this Thanksgiving. In order to reach the good, you have to go through the bad, right? I think every elite team in the NFL today has been through some rough patches at some point before their peak. That's how the NFL, and all sports, work.

Well, perhaps this is the time for the franchise to endure some rough patches. It just might be time, and that's OK. However, even during the bad times, there's always at least a few postives to hang your hat on. What are the top three things that New England Patriots fans should be thankful for on this Thanksgiving?

1. Robert Kraft

The New England Patriots are one of a handful of NFL teams that have stable and proactive ownership. Robert Kraft is one of the best owners in the NFL, and I don't think he's just going to sit on his hands this coming offseason. I'd expect major organizational changes, and Kraft is going to lead that charge.

He's going to have to have tough conversations with Bill Belichick and is going to be the one to remove Belichick from his roles with the team, which is exactly what the Patriots need to do. It's not going to be easy for Kraft, who has likely reached the end of his rope with the team in recent years. One thing that is certain with Kraft is how obsessed he is with winning, so you can expect that he'll leave no stone unturned to ensure the franchise gets back to that in 2024 and beyond.
