The return of Bill O’Brien

In my eyes, the Patriot's best move of the offseason so far is bringing back offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.

The move will allow the Patriots to have a functional offense in 2023 and should lead to an improved Mac Jones. O’Brien will also bring back his two tight-end offenses that helped the Patriots revolutionalize offense in the NFL.

Patriots fans should be excited to see how Hunter Henry and Mike Gesicki will be used this season.

Also, the return of Bill O’Brien should excite Patriots fans because it will give them a definitive answer on Jones.

Besides making the playoffs, the most important thing for the Patriots this season is to find out if Jones is the guy. This should excite Patriots fans because they should get the best version of Jones this season.

Rhamondre Stevenson year three leap

Rhamondre Stevenson had a great year last season, but his third season can be even better.

After rushing for 1,040 yards and five touchdowns last season, Stevenson instantly became a fan favorite. Also, with the departure of Damien Harris to the Buffalo Bills, Stevenson is now the lead back.

This should excite Patriots fans because Stevenson has a chance to be a top-five running back in the NFL next year.

The supremely talented defensive unit

The Patriots' defense was ranked in the top ten last season, and they are going to be better this year.

With the addition of cornerback Christian Gonzalez, the Patriots' defense will be one of the best in the NFL. Bill Belichick has so many different combinations of players and coverages that he can use, which will confuse and disrupt opposing quarterbacks.

Patriots fans should be excited for the defense this season because they are going to win a lot of games in 2023.
