The New England Patriots have been atrocious the entire 2023 NFL Season, and there are three players that stick out who do not belong at the Thanksgiving Day table. Man, this sounds harsh, but it's true. There's been a lot to dislike about the team this year, and at the end of the day, the coaches can only do so much.

Ultimately, it's up to the players to execute, and that's precisely what they haven't done. Onboth sides of the ball, the Patriots are getting brutalized. It's a season that many want to end, but on the bright side, the team is likely headed towards a top-five pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, which could be high enough to land a franchise QB.

The team is also expected to have a ton of cap space in 2024 and potentially have new people installed at General Manager and Head Coach, so the future could be bright. But in 2023, which three players do not deserve to be at the Thanksgiving Day table?

1. JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

This might be one of the worst free agency signings in the NFL this past offseason. I don't necessarily put all the blame on JuJu Smith-Schuster for his lack of production, but he simply can't separate anymore and is virtually non-existent when he's on the field. JuJu has played in eight games this year and has caught 22 passes for 149 yards and one touchdown.

He's averaging... 6.8 yards per reception and was signed to essentially replace Jakobi Meyers, who is enjoying a very strong year. It's been a total disaster on offense for the New England Patriots, and the lack of production from JuJu has been a big reason for that.
