#2: Will the Patriots' defense continue their hot streak against another mobile quarterback this week?

The Patriots defense is one of the bright spots of another disappointing season. They began the season looking even better than last year but were doing even better with the addition of Christian Gonzalez.

They continued to get better every week, with the rise of new stars like Myles Bryant, Jahlani Tavai, and Mack Wilson having career-best seasons. Their performances have boosted the defense to new heights, allowing the unit to continue dominating on the field despite the lackluster efforts from the offense for most of the year.

In recent weeks, the entire defense has played nearly lights out and been the main reason they've remained in most games, even while missing J.C. Jackson, Matthew Judon, and Jabrill Peppers. They've shown outstanding effort in getting to the quarterback, have become one of the best teams in the league against the run, and have been creating turnovers in almost every game.

The most impressive part has been their success at slowing down some of the more mobile quarterbacks in the league. Over the last three games, they've totaled ten sacks and 19 QB hits. Can they continue that against another slithery passer like Josh Allen?

It will be a difficult test, but they've shown they can make the plays in recent weeks, so hopefully, we will see more of that on Sunday.
