10 scariest rookies the Patriots will play in 2024
By Matt Sidney
Tennessee Titans - JC Latham, OT
I'm willing to bet a bunch of you were like, huh? What is an offensive tackle doing on Matt's list of rookies we should be scared of? If you don't know who JC Latham is, watch his tape. Take a gander at his measurables. He is an absolute unit.
The Alabama alum stands 6'6" tall and weighs 342 pounds. He might be the strongest pound-for-pound player in the draft, which alone should warrant the Sunday scaries for opposing defenses.
Latham is athletic and agile and uses his body to his advantage. He will be very tough to beat. The Patriots' defensive line (outside of Matt Judon) will have tremendous difficulty getting past him. Getting in the backfield helps teams win games.
The worst part is that Latham may not give the Pats that opportunity, and that's scary. What might be most terrifying is he could literally ragdoll toss any member of New England's defense with little to no effort. He's that strong.
