The offensive line has been an issue for the Patriots for several years, which is why Mike Vrabel and the new regime decided to prioritize improving the group this offseason. They did so by signing veteran right tackle Morgan Moses in free agency and selecting the best left tackle of the 2025 rookie class in Will Campbell in the first round of this year's draft.

They added even more depth through the draft by picking running back TreVeyon Henderson, who was known as a solid pass blocker during his time at Ohio State, and using a third-round selection on center Jared Wilson, who has been serving as the starting left guard to start the year.

The impressive rookie was a pleasant surprise during training camp and seemed to have locked up a starting role early in the summer.

Although he was presumably taken to replace David Andrews, he has instead replaced Cole Strange, and continues to prove exactly why the former first-rounder was sent packing during roster cutdowns.

The Patriots offensive line has been impressive, despite the number of rookies given the start

The Patriots' offense is under a lot of pressure this season, especially the offensive line, which the new regime spent a lot of money and resources on to improve this offseason. Although there is certainly room for more moves to be made, the group has done an excellent job through two games, with Wilson being among the most impressive.

His performance against the Dolphins exceeded expectations, as he allowed absolutely nothing throughout the game, despite a notable Miami front seven lined up against him.

This is the kind of performance the Patriots need across the board from their linemen, and fortunately, they have been doing that so far.

It'll be even more crucial next week against another group of defenders that wreaks havoc on their opponents, particularly T.J. Watt, who is hoping to redeem himself and his teammates for a less-than-stellar start to the year.

It will be a tough outing for a young linemen group, even more so if Morgan Moses, who sported a boot on his foot post-game, is unable to suit up next week. That means another rookie will be starting in his place, Marcus Bryant, who also shined throughout the summer.
