While the New England Patriots look completely revamped and ready to compete in the AFC, it's been a much different story for the Miami Dolphins. No one was exactly pounding the "Super Bowl-bound" drum for the Dolphins, but they also probably didn't expect them to have just one win through the first six weeks of the season.
For Patriots fans, this has been quite comical. It's always fun to watch division rivals suffer, and that's exactly what's playing out right now for Miami after some decent years. The Dolphins had several respectable seasons that saw them make the playoffs, but it appears those days are done, and Mike McDaniel will be on his way out the door sooner rather than later.
The latest reports following Miami's loss to the Chargers are quite telling as to how bad things are going for the Dolphins.
Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa didn't make it much better when he discussed how players have been late or skipping players-only meetings recently.

Dolphins' trainwreck of a season is pure entertainment for Patriots fans
Tagovailoa's comments indicate that McDaniel has completely lost the locker room and that the team has seemingly given up on being a competitive unit this year. If the quarterback is telling the media this publicly, things are not going well at all. Tagovailoa put his head coach on blast, and now we'll have to see how he responds and if any more drama comes from this (hopefully it does).
Either way, it feels like it's only a matter of time before McDaniel loses his job and the Dolphins have to start from the ground up and rebuild.
Patriots fans have been dealing with the whole rebuild thing, and while, yes, there were some rough years, it seems Mike Vrabel already has this train on the right track. Hopefully that's not the case for the Dolphins. In fact, if the Dolphins want to keep McDaniel past this season, that'd be even more enjoyable for Pats fans.
This season has already been a lot of fun for the Patriots due to their winning ways and the way Drake Maye is looking like a franchise quarterback. The Dolphins' collapse before our very eyes only makes this season even more enjoyable. Keep it up, Dolphins!
