The Patriots are expected to undergo many changes this offseason, which already began by dismissing Jerod Mayo after just one season and hiring Mike Vrabel to be the next head coach. He brought in an experienced and impressive staff to help mold the team for the 2025 season, and that will inevitably dictate the kind of roster they put together through free agency and the draft.
Fortunately, that couldn't be happening at a better time, as they have a league-high cap space to utilize (projected around $120 million) and nicely position draft picks to select their (hopeful) next game-changing starters.
They also have nearly two dozen players set to hit free agency, many of whom likely will not return, and more roster cuts to make to really makeover the team under the new regime. The 2025 Patriots are going to look a lot different, but it should be for the better.
As those changes are set to take place next month, there will be a lot of movement with the roster to keep track of.
