The rematch of the century has now been made official, as the New England Patriots are set to host the Seattle Seahawks in Santa Clara for Super Bowl LX on February 8. Two of the most unsuspecting teams to do much of anything in 2025 are now embarking on the biggest game of the season in hopes of taking home another Lombardi trophy to cap off their impressive year.

Their head coaches are prominently at the head of the Coach of the Year race, and their defenses are playing at the highest level, along with quarterbacks who have been widely overlooked to this point. So it's inevitably going to be a battle of the finer details that don't get talked about much.

That's something those who have been around the game have already been mentioning, with the game becoming official, with one of the first former players being Ndamukong Suh during a recent appearance on Sky Sports.

Patriots fans will love his insight, and Seahawks fans might get a bit nervous about one key factor that swings momentum in their opponent's favor.

Ndamukong Suh believes experience could play a role for the Patriots in Super Bowl LX

While discussing the upcoming Super Bowl matchup earlier this week, the longtime dominant defensive tackle spoke highly of head coach Mike Vrabel and believes his postseason experience as a player will be a major factor in preparing the Patriots over the next two weeks.

That's not something Seattle has within their coaching staff or locker room.

"I’m not going to put either of these coaches out, but especially not Mike Vrabel, because he has a history of winning and understanding how to win. And he’s got a solid week and a half, almost two weeks to prepare for this team? I mean, they’re gonna have a great game plan for Sam Darnold and the Seattle Seahawks."

Although anything can happen on any given Sunday, including the Super Bowl, there are factors that go mostly under the radar that can separate a team from winning and losing, and we see that far more often than most want to acknowledge.

Understanding how Super Bowl preparation works and the mentality needed to overcome all the obstacles and distractions ahead of the game will be invaluable for a predominantly young Patriots team.

Vrabel and even Josh McDaniels understand that more than almost anyone in the league, and that will be a bit of a story going into the Super Bowl, particularly for Drake Maye.

The weight of the world will be on his shoulders, but the coaching staff will need to ensure it doesn't become too much to bear for the quarterback and the rest of the team, and put them in the right mindset going into the biggest game of their careers.
