Perhaps the most improbable scenario of who would be playing in Super Bowl LX, the Patriots will take on the Seahawks as the home team at Levi's Stadium on February 8. Both teams missed the playoffs in 2024, but with the right head coach and quarterback in tow, they won their divisions and tsecuredthe top seeds to earn their way to the championship game.
It is the first time the Patriots have been in the postseason since 2021, and their first Super Bowl appearance since Super Bowl LIII, the last Lombardi Trophy Tom Brady won with the team. And now, they're getting a rematch against their Super Bowl XLIX opponent, and hope to have the same result.
Unfortunately, it doesn't appear they'll be wearing what most fans were hoping for, as the classic blue jersey with silver pants combo has returned over the last two years.
Instead, the current rumor, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss, is that the white-out uniform we saw in the AFC Championship will be used in the Super Bowl, and that has prompted a lot of debate amongst Patriots' Nation.
Patriots fans are not exactly pleased with early rumors about their Super Bowl uniform decision
The idea of what a team wears has become a hot topic for any fanbase, and that's kind of silly to think about, but that's where the Patriots were over the last five years.
It made sense why the organization felt it was time to make some changes after Brady left, as it was an attempt to kick off a new era without the greatest of all time, but it also didn't go over too well with the fans, who consistently expressed their contempt for their new choices, particularly the blue jersey and blue pants combination.
Now that they have brought back the beloved blue and silver look, the hope was that it would be their Super Bowl get-up. Instead, it looks like they'll be wearing all white, which is a combination they went undefeated in during the 2025 season.
On the other hand, however, the last time they wore that uniform in the Super Bowl, they lost, which opposing Patriots fans were quick to point out.
Whether the uniform decision has much to do with what happens in the game depends on how superstitious you are, and although nothing has been made official just yet, Patriots fans are already feeling some sort of way about what might be inevitable.
