There was a lot not to like from the Patriots in Super Bowl LX, but the most atrocious part might be how their offense performed for nearly all four quarters. The worst of all, aside from Drake Maye, was the offensive line, whose struggles caused many problems and ultimately led to avoidable turnovers and lost points.

Most of the problems were on the left side, which was manned by rookies Will Campbell and Jared Wilson, and it would be fair to say they had the worst games of their young careers on the biggest stage of all.

Because of that, it didn't take long for Mike Vrabel to address the situation: one of his first comments to reporters after the loss was about their performance, and it couldn't have been clearer.

It's probably more politically correct cast blame across the board, but we know that the worst offenders were the rookies on the left side, and it was beyond clear from the start of the game.

The offensive line has been one of the weaker points of the Patriots' roster over the last few years, and while plenty of upgrades were made this past offseason, clearly not enough was done to ensure their franchise quarterback was set up for success in a game as big as the Super Bowl.

Of course, much of that is due to their inexperience, and that showed up throughout the playoffs and again in the Super Bowl.

They certainly made the right moves from center across to right tackle, but now they'll have some decisions to make going into this offseason, with some speculating that Campbell could be moved to left guard despite being a No. 4 overall draft pick.

We'll have to see what happens, but something needs to be done if they want the offense to have a real chance next year, especially with Drake Maye going into the third year of his rookie contract. They have just one more year to spend good money to build around him before they will be strapped with paying him a massive extension, so they'll need to get that offensive line help in the door as soon as possible.
