ESPN analyst is already walking back his preposterous Brady-Belichick take

Oh, Dan.

The New England Patriots have the best head coach/quarterback duo in the history of the NFL, but some thing another duo is closing in.

Belichick and Brady were able to bring six Super bowls to the New England Patriots franchise, and that is a feat that may never happen again in the history of the NFL. The next closest duo might be Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, but with them being blown out in two Super Bowls, you get the sense that winning one more would be tough.

And they'd still be two Super Bowls short if they won it all in the 2025 NFL Season. Anyway, an analyst on ESPN had quite the preposterous take centering around Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, and you'll have to hear it to truly believe it.

Dan Orlovsky is walking back his atrocious take regarding Tom Brady and Bill Belichick

Here is Dan Orlovsky:

And of course, after getting a ton of backlash, Orlovsky is walking it back, unsurprisingly:

Yeah, this just does not make any sense from Dan, and it's not a surprise he's trying to walk this insane opinion back. Not only are Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts not close to being Bill Belichick and Tom Brady, but they might not even be the best duo in the NFC right now, let alone an all-time one.

The best head coach/quarterback duo in the NFL is still Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, and after that is likely Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford. Both Sirianni and Hurts are far from elite at their respective positions and would have well over a decade ahead of them for the discussion to even begin.

This was an insane take from Dan Orlovsky and one he just missed the mark on big-time. Him walking it back is no surprise and is better than him doubling down, I guess.
