Five bold predictions for the Patriots in week eight

Isaiah Wynn is inactive

The Patriots made a few roster moves on Saturday ahead of the game against the Jets. Unfortunately, Kyle Dugger will be out, but I’m intrigued by the moves made along the offensive line.

Yodny Cajuste was activated and Kody Russey was elevated from the practice squad. These might seem like minor moves, but I think they could point to Isaiah Wynn being inactive yet again. Wynn sat out Monday’s game with a shoulder injury and with the trade deadline on Tuesday, I can see the Patriots sitting him down. Teams have reportedly expressed interest in Wynn and the Patriots might not want him to further injury before they can get something for him before he hits free agency.
