New England Patriots who could make the NFL Top 100 in 2023

The NFL Top 100 saw two New England Patriots’ players appear on the list; Mac Jones and Matt Judon. Who could be on the list next year?  Even if the Patriots haven’t had the best offseason, they’ve still got some very good players on both sides of the ball that could emerge as top players in the league for 2023.

I think it’s a safe bet that both Mac Jones and Matt Judon could appear on the top 100 again in 2023.  They’re both extremely talented players who have every shot at improving on their performance in the 2022 season.

I think one of the most obvious players who could appear on the top 100 for the first time in 2023 is Christian Barmore, the Patriots second year player from Alabama who was very good as a rookie.  The year two jump in the NFL is very real, and Barmore has all of the tools to be able to make this jump, especially playing alonside Davon Godchaux, who was recently extended.

Hunter Henry had 603 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2021, both very good numbers from the tight end position.  It’s likely that Mac Jones relies on Henry even more in year two together, and we know the potential that Henry has.  He’s battled injuries during his career but stayed mostly healthy in 2022.  I think he’s another candidate to make the list in 2023.

I’d be willing to bet on Trent Brown as another candidate who could sneak on the top 100 list in 2023 for the Patriots.  He’s had a solid offseason at left tackle, and is a very talented player.  He’s got to stay on the field and in the right head space.

Brown has all the tools to pull from to be an elite left tackle, and he’s got quite the shot in 2022 to show the team and front office that he can stick around for much longer.  I think those three players for the New England Patriots all have good shots to breakout a bit in 2023 and land on the next NFL Top 100 list.  What do you think?
