Patriots Game Today: Patriots vs Cowboys injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, live Stream, TV channel
By Jerry Trotta
The New England Patriots improved to 2-3 with a win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, but it’s fair to say that fans were left with more questions than answers following the victory.
The defense couldn’t contain Davis Mills. Damien Harris fumbled at the goal line AGAIN. It was just an uncharacteristically sloppy performance in all facets.
At the end of the day, though, a win is a win. However, the losses will start to pile up if the Patriots don’t get their act together, and it starts in Week 6 against a Dallas Cowboys side that ranks among the NFL’s elite through five weeks.
With that in mind, let’s see what oddsmakers are saying about the Patriots’ chances to knock off Dak Prescott and Co. this weekend, shall we?

Patriots vs Cowboys Prediction
We hate to bet against the Patriots at home, but Gillette Stadium hasn’t been the hostile fortress fans have come to expect over the last 20 years. In fact, New England has lost all three of their games at Gillette this season.
It’s tough to envision that narrative changing on Sunday, as the Cowboys are a couple missed field goals in Week 1 away from being 5-0. We’re terrified to think how the Pats’ defense will fare against the NFL’s second-ranked offense after they just allowed Mills, a third-round rookie, to finish 21-of-29 for 312 yards and three touchdowns to zero interceptions.
Bill Belichick-coached defenses generally don’t turn in back-to-back stinkers, but what sane person would bet the Patriots after that near disaster? It’s a terrible matchup on multiple fronts, so we’re taking the Cowboys to win this one by a final score of 31-24.
