The New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off this Sunday night in the most expensive game in recent Pats history — by a mile.

Tom Brady returns to the field he made famous (along with Tedy Bruschi, Mike Vrabel, Adam Vinatieri, and like a hundred other dynastic gods), and though he looks a little worse for wear, you have to assume he plans to Flu Game it when the lights turn on.

Expect myriad pop culture crossovers this weekend, as everyone tries to replicate NBC Sports’ Adele-themed promo, and heighten the insanity for their own purposes.

Naturally, in a sea of goofy tie-ins, Julian Edelman’s social media game stands supreme.

While TB12 himself has unleashed a torrent of dad jokes in recent years and gets acclaim simply for having an account that’s not boring, Edelman’s social game is the real deal.

On Thursday, he paid tribute to the cringiest episode in the long history of “The Office” with a “Scott’s Tots”-themed — just kidding, it’s The Dinner Party, featuring all the classic characters in recent Patriots history.

Patriots legend Julian Edelman thinks Tom Brady is going to dunk the Osso Bucco in his red wine.

“Have fun with your Jakobi Meyers and Damien Harris, BABE!”

The Brady-Belichick breakup didn’t quite happen as publicly as this Jan-Michael outburst, but we bet Edelman really was sitting outside the coach’s door awkwardly like Pam during some of the final conversations detailed by Seth Wickersham in his new book.

If Belichick was annoyed that Edelman did an innocent impression of him on national television, what’s he going to think about this? Ah, right, he probably won’t understand it.

Kudos, too, for Gronk as Dwight and Mac Jones as Dwight’s babysitter, though we might’ve liked to see Mac photoshopped onto the CD player as Jan’s assistant Hunter crooned through the speakers? You know, because he’s kind of like her “new man”? So wrong, so right.

Though Brady showed up this week looking like death warmed over/he cooked his foot in a Foreman Grill, expect him to show up Sunday night looking fresh and rejuvenated like it’s Pretzel Day.

Stay tuned for the postgame, when Edelman will probably photoshop someone’s face over Michael sadly refreshing the 30-second sample of James Blunt’s “Goodbye My Lover”.
