Control what you can control, Patriots fans. Block the Bucs and never look back.

New England Patriots fans have plenty to be proud of — two decades of unimpeachable greatness, death-defying comebacks, and superstar talent will puff up your chest a little bit.

But a new era begins in 2020, and Pats Nation is going to learn a harsh lesson that the rest of the Twitterverse has already learned after tough losses (what are those?) these past several years.

Block your enemies. Don’t even think about it. Just block them.

Now stocked with both Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be highlight-worthy all year long, and their social media accounts are going to be churning out stomach-turning edits with every win, practice, or photoshoot.

While Patriots fans can’t eliminate the Bucs from their lives entirely, they have complete control over their own social media accounts. So take the big step and hit that [BLOCK] button. You have the power to get rid of (shudders) this.

And also, uh, this.

With a caption seemingly meant to target the fans of Boston, who do not deserve this.

But you know what you can do to stop it? Pull a David Andrews and hit this insipid account with a powerful block.

Nobody can take that away from you.

With every Buccaneers account you destroy, it also makes sure the messages you actually want amplified on your feed get their proper recognition.

Whenever you peel Mike Evans’ smiling face off your Twitter feed, you’re increasing the chances of a Jarrett Stidham laser or a Cam Newton shake-and-bake finding its way to the top. This is the lord’s work, and you can do it with the click of one single button.

While it’s no longer plausible for you to run into TB12 in the aisles at Shaw’s or Star Market and convince him to stay home with a heartfelt plea he cites for years in press conferences and Hall of Fame speeches, blocking the Bucs is very much still on the table.

Make the right call. Save yourself some heartache. Do it today.
