Here are three offensive players that are poised to have a breakout year for the New England Patriots this upcoming season.

Now that Tom Brady, the franchise’s all-time leader, is no longer on the team, we’re going to see more young and inexperienced receivers and other skill position players running in and out of the offense for the New England Patriots this season.

As Brady aged over the years and throughout his late 30s, he started to show his dissatisfaction about playing with younger receivers. Also as he has aged, he made it clear that he wants to play with more experienced players and better talent in order for him to be the most successful.

Staying true to his word, Brady would only target the receivers that he trusted and would not look towards the direction of anyone that he felt shouldn’t even be on the field with him. In doing so, Brady has made critical and indirect comments towards players like N’Keal Harry, Phillip Dorsett, Jakobi Meyers, and Gunner Olszewski.

It’s fair — and also crazy — to say now that Brady is gone, the younger receivers and skilled position players running through New England will actually have a better chance to be successful.

In realization of that, the Patriots have added seven undrafted free agent wide receivers — and three tight ends — since Brady’s departure this offseason.

It’s also fair to say that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels can finally start to rebuild the future of the Patriots offense and their system now that Brady is gone.

With that being said, check out the three players that are going to have a breakout year this season for the New England Patriots.
