New England Patriots: Russell Wilson has high praise for Tom Brady
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady received some high praise from Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.
The New England Patriots have been the most consistent team in the NFL for almost two decades. Having arguably the greatest head coach of all-time in Bill Belichick gives them a weekly edge. When you add a quarterback the caliber of Tom Brady along with him, it is an almost unbeatable duo.
For almost 20 years teams have tried to figure out how to slow down the duo of Brady and Belichick and no one has seemed to figure it out. Despite being 40-years old, Brady took home the MVP award in 2017 and has no signs of slowing down.
Last season Brady completed 385-of-581 66.3 percent of his passes last season for 4,577 yards. The attempts and yardage both led the NFL. Brady also added 32 touchdowns compared to only eight interceptions.
That was enough to take home his third MVP award in his career. It was the latest addition to an impressive trophy case and resume for Brady. He is a 13-time Pro Bowler, five-time Super Bowl winner, two-time AP Player of the year winner and was even named Comeback Player of the Year in 2009.

There are a lot of people that believe Brady is the greatest quarterback of all-time. Those people would have a strong argument. He has had sustained success with multiple Super Bowls to back it up. His statistics are extremely impressive, as he is one of the most productive players in NFL history.
You can add Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to the list of people who believe that Brady is the greatest of all-time. Wilson spoke highly of Brady when talking to NFL Network during their top-100 player release.
"“The thing about Tom is — he’s super clutch. He’s on time,” Wilson told NFL Network. “When the game is on the line, he has no fear. … I’ve got a lot of respect for Tom. How could you not? He’s the greatest of all time.”"

Brady came in at No. 1 on the top-100 player list, and it was deserved. Wilson is no slouch himself, coming in at No. 11 in the top-100 list.
Everything that Wilson said was spot on. Brady has 42 game winning drives in his career in the regular season and 11 in the postseason. In the regular season, Brady has 34 fourth quarter comebacks and eight in the postseason.

It doesn’t get much more clutch than that. Brady looks like he has more in the tank as well to add to those totals this season.
