On Sunday, the New England Patriots will be playing their biggest game of the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. With a banged up defense, they could use Trey Flowers back in the lineup.

In Week 15, we will see one of the biggest games of the NFL season, as the New England Patriots face the Pittsburgh Steelers. As the top two teams in the AFC this season, this will be a battle for potentially the No.1 seed in the conference.

Last week, the Steelers were able to secure a big win on Sunday Night Football against the Baltimore Ravens. In the game, the Killers B’s for the Steelers were on full display. Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell, and Antonio Brown all had big games, and the Steelers were able to win in a shootout.

For the Patriots, they suffered a shocking loss on the road against the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. The Patriots were without Rob Gronkowski due to his one-game suspension, however, they missed a few key players on the defensive side.

With the Patriots coming off a bad loss, they will hope to be a bit healthier against the Steelers. One of the key players that they hope will be back is defensive end Trey Flowers. This season, Flowers is leading the team in sacks, as he has totaled 6.0 this season.

In addition to Flowers being out last week, the Patriots were also without Kyle Van Noy. Van Noy is second on the team in sacks and tackles, as missing these two players certainly hurt the Patriots. Jay Cutler and Kenyan Drake were able to have huge games against the Patriots, and the short-handed defense had no answer for them.

Against the high-powered Steelers offense, the Patriots could be in big trouble if they are without both on Sunday. Both players were limited throughout the week and are officially listed as questionable for the Steelers. We will likely have to wait until Sunday afternoon to find out, but the Patriots’ defense could be lacking some key players once again.
