The fantasy football season has entered Week 6 already. What can we expect to see from Tom Brady against the New York Jets?

With the fantasy football season entering Week 6, one of the intriguing matchups will be between the New York Jets and New England Patriots. Through five games, both teams have 3-2 records, and this game has a lot more meaning than anyone could have predicted before the season started.

Despite this being a home game for the Jets and having the same record as the Patriots, they are pretty sizeable underdogs. The Patriots are expected to score a lot of points against a Jets defense that has been pretty good.

For fantasy football owners of players on the Patriots, this is certainly good news. As always, one of the best performers for the Patriots will likely be Tom Brady.

So far in 2017, Brady has been great for fantasy owners. Since Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs, Brady has totaled at least 300 passing yards in each game. With just one interception this season, he also hasn’t hurt owners with too many turnovers.

Despite the Jets being a decent team against fantasy quarterbacks so far, Brady has continued to show that is as close to matchup proof as you can get. Since this game has a lot more meaning than originally thought, don’t expect the Patriots to take the Jets lightly.

One thing that has caused some concern in New England is that Brady has been banged up and has a sprained AC Joint in his non-throwing arm. While this shouldn’t affect him throwing the football, it does show that Brady is not 100 percent after all of the hits he has taken this season.

Next: 5 winners and losers from Week 5

Since the Patriots are coming into New York with a few extra days of rest and preparation, expect to see a big game from Brady and a win for New England.

Projection: 330 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, zero turnovers.
