New England Patriots stay put in Week 2 NFL Power Rankings

After having their first game postponed due to Hurricane Irma, the Buccaneers came out and made a statement in Week 2. While the Buccaneers’ offense will get a lot of attention this season, it was their defense that was very impressive in Week 2. The Buccaneers held the Bears to just 20 rushing yards as a team, and that is a good recipe to win football games.
For the second straight week, the Seahawks didn’t look very good. However, this week they were fortunate to play the 49ers. Scoring just 12 points against the 49ers was a big disappointment for the Seahawks. Russell Wilson threw the ball 39 times, but he didn’t even total 200 passing yards. Seattle needs their offense to figure some things out, especially along the offensive line.
It was a tough night for the Packers on Sunday Night Football against the Atlanta Falcons. The Packers got banged up during the game, and never really posed much of a threat to the Falcons. The Packers have an easy game coming up against the Bengals, but they have a long injury list heading into that game.
