New England Patriots stay put in Week 2 NFL Power Rankings

The Vikings suffered some unfortunate news prior to the start of their Week 2 game against the Steelers, as starting quarterback Sam Bradford was unable to play with a knee injury. Case Keenum did alright filling in for Bradford, but the Steelers at home were too much for the backup quarterback. Hopefully, Bradford will be back on the field soon for the Vikings.
Week 2 was a tough matchup for the Eagles on the road, but they played admirably in Kansas City. Carson Wentz turned in another good game, as he totaled 333 passing yards. Also, Wentz ran it four times for 55 rushing yards, as he showed his athleticism against a tough Chiefs’ defense. Even though they lost, the Eagles proved in Week 2 that they are going to be a good team this season.
It wasn’t a pretty win for the Panthers but they have moved to 2-0 in 2017. For the second straight game, the Panthers’ offense didn’t look very impressive, as they scored just nine points. Cam Newton still doesn’t look like his normal self, but it hasn’t cost the Panthers a game yet. When Newton and the Panthers’ offense get it together, they might be a great team with how well the defense is playing.
