Week 16: Home vs. Buffalo Bills/ Week 17: Home vs. New York Jets

After losing their first game of the season, the Patriots will be returning home to face the Bills and the Jets to finish up their season. If all goes according to plan, neither the Bills or the Jets will have much to play for in these games.

Against the Jets in Week 17, the Patriots very well could see Christian Hackenberg for the first time. This two games could be a bit difficult to judge, as we have the Patriots with a 13-1 record at this point. Depending on how the rest of the AFC is doing, the Patriots could have things wrapped up by this time.

Even if they do, the Patriots will likely not take it easy on their division rivals. Even if they elect to get Brady some rest in one or two of these games, they would still have Jimmy Garoppolo playing.

Predictions: Wins against both the Jets and Bills

If the predictions are correct, the Patriots will have an impressive 15-1 record in the regular season. A record like this will guarantee them homefield throughout the AFC Playoffs, and they will likely be the favorite to win the Super Bowl once again.
